University of Vermont Morgan Horse Farm
The University of Vermont Morgan Horse Farm is a historic horse breeding facility in neighboring Weybridge. Since 1907, it has been an official breeding site for the Morgan horse, one of the first American-bred horse breeds, and Vermont’s official state animal.
Town Hall Theater
Town Hall Theater, a lovingly-restored Middlebury landmark, has become a performing arts anchor for the Middlebury community. Local and national talent is showcased here in productions ranging from large-cast musicals like The Music Man to one-person plays like Shirley Valentine. Simulcasts of operas from the Metropolitan Opera in New York or London Theater are always on the bill, as are performances from the outstanding Middlebury Opera Company.
The Trail Around Middlebury
The Trail Around Middlebury (TAM) is a 16-mile footpath that encircles the village of Middlebury and links several hundred acres of town land, conserved properties, schools, and other local landmarks. There is an entrance from our parking lot.
Middlebury College Snow Bowl
Middlebury College Snow Bowl is a family-friendly experience for downhill riders and skiers. While most Vermonters travel to nearby, or not-so-nearby, mountain towns, Middlebury residents enjoy the convenience of great skiing and snowboarding right in their own backyard.

The Rikert Nordic Center offers 42 km of prepared cross country trails, with the most extensive snowmaking system of its type to ensure the best snow coverage possible.
Branbury State Park
Branbury State Park is on the eastern shore of spectacular Lake Dunmore at the base of Mt. Moosalamoo. The Green Mountain National Forest borders the park to the east giving access to extensive hiking and mountain biking opportunities.
